Coach Bollwerk graduated from Northwest Whitfield High School in 1990, where she was a four-year varsity letterman in both Cross-Country and Track. She continued her education and running career at Georgia State University where she majored in Early Childhood Education and competed on the Cross Country, Swimming and Track teams. She graduated from Berry College in 1994 with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Child Development. In 1998, after completing her Master’s in Teaching from Union University in New York, she began her teaching and coaching career.
Coach Bollwerk has been teaching middle and high school for since 1998, and has coached Cross-Country, Swimming and Track and Field at both the middle school and high school levels. This is her first year with the Woodland High School Cross Country team.
Coach Bollwerk currently teaches Life Science at Woodland Middle school. She lives in Taylorsville with her Husband Tim and three children Patrick, Erin and Teagan.
