Phil Sandifer comes to Woodland with 20 years of teaching and coaching experience in multiple sports. Coach and his wife, April, are long time Cobb educators who have recently moved to Cartersville with their 3 children, Trip (17), Nick (15), and Olivia (10). Coach Sandifer teaches social studies at Woodland. Coach is our Assistant Head football Coach and our Offensive Coordinator for the Woodland Wildcats.

Coach Sandifer comes to us with 9 years’ experience as a soccer coach at Campbell High School in Smyrna, Georgia. At Campbell, as the Head coach for 5 years coach lead the program from 1 win in 2010 to 17 wins in 2014. He has an overall Head Coaching record of 41-16 while at Campbell. In 2014, his team was Ranked 3rd in the State by the AJC in the season’s final poll making it to the Quarterfinals in the GHSA playoffs.

Coach loves the ability of soccer to bring a community and a school together for all types of people and he is excited to help grow soccer in our school and in our community.
