Coach Plott is a native of Gainesville Ga, where he played both offensive line and defensive line for the late Wayne Bradshaw at East Hall High School. After high school, he accepted a scholarship at Catawba College and played on the offensive line.

Coach Plott is a graduate of West Georgia College. His coaching career started at East Hall where he spent three seasons. His next stop was at Pope High School where he spent four seasons and was the offensive coordinator.

This will be Coach Plott’s fifteenth season at Woodland High School.  While at Woodland, Coach Plott has served as the offensive coordinator and the defensive coordinator. 

This will be Coach Plott’s fourth season as the head coach.
Coach Plott has been married to his wife, Robin, for nineteen years.  They have four children, Molly (17), Jonah (14), Isabelle (13), and Collins (2).
